Hon. Halima Hayatu - Jakadiya Fali –(Former Hon. Commissioner Adamawa State, CSO Expert)

Hon. Halima Mohammed Hayatu was born to the family of Alh. Ahmadu Wambai on the 14 of November, 1967 at Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

She began her Education at the age of seven at Army Children School Mubi for her 1st School leaving Certificate between 1974-1980. Halima then attended Government Secondary School Mubi between 1985-1980 and obtained SSCE Certificate. She gained admission into University of Maiduguri resulting to her Successful completion of a degree program where she bagged a B.Sc. Honours in Economics in 1990. She performed a one year mandatory service with the NYSC in Benue State. As faith will have it, Hajiya obtained a master’s degree Msc in Human Resources Management in the year 2006 at the Lagos State University.

Hon.Halima began her working career in June 1992 at the Government House Yola Adamawa State as a Personnel Officer. She later moved to the Nigeria Airways Limited Lagos in 1993. Having so much passion and interest in the game of politics, she returned home in 2007 and contested for a position of Member House of Representative in Mubi zone.

Her steadfastness and determination resulted for her inclusion to serve at several committees and organizations in various capacities.These include member; Bicentenary Anniversary Celebration, Adamawa Emirate Council, Coronation of the 12th Lamido Adamawa, coordinator of the GoodluckSambo campaign organization as well as the Nyako- Ngillari campaign organization Mubi North resulting to their successful re-election. Adamawa state Ambassador project 4+4 for the Re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2019.

Hon. Halima was appointed as a Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State on International and Domestic Affairs. She was subsequently appointed Hon.Commissioner Ministry of Women Affairs social development and integration. In 2018 Hon. Halima Hayatu was appointed chairman of the Governing council college of health and technology Mubi.

Hon.Halima Hayatu attended several conferences and workshops within and outside the country. A recipient of numerous awards of Excellence and Letters of Commendations. Her passion in life is to mobilize and integrate peoples of various diversity through people’s oriented programmes that uplift their standard of living and create political awareness or consciousness at the grassroot level so as to assist them to achieve their ambition. This is in line with the mandate of the office of Jakadiya Mubi Emirate.

Hon. Halima Hayatu speaks Fali,Fulfulde,Hausa and English.She is married with children. She’s presently the P.A to Jakadiya Mubi Emirate,the chairman Adamawa Women Peace Initiative (AWPI) and UN Peace Programme Nigeria-Ambassador for peace.
